Lost Soul

I wrote this one for an online friend who had asked if I could come up with something for a 30 or 40 year class reunion. She sent me several detailed reminiscing emails and pictures so that I could 'get in tune' with what the poem would be about. The poem, following, was read at the class reunion and the friend who I wrote it for thanked me profusely, happy I'd represented her class in this manner.

The Paradox

Several people have told me the next poem is their favorite. More have told me the ending was quite unexpected. Almost all have said once they started reading it they couldn't stop. So ... if you don't have time to read 123 verses right now, it might be better to choose another poem.

I hope you've enjoyed reading these as much as I've enjoyed writing them. This will be updated whenever I feel the 'rhyme-time' urge again.

Thanks for taking time out from your busy day to sit with me for awhile. If I caused you to feel any emotion during the reading of one of my poems then I've accomplished my goal.

Thanks, again, for letting me spend a little time with you. Feel free to email me anytime.
